FAQs
ARE LASHES REUSABLE?
Yes. Our lashes can be worn for up to 20 wears with proper maintenance before a new pair is recommended.
WHERE SHOULD I KEEP/STORE MY LASHES?
When lashes are not on your face, you should place them back in the lash case until your ready to wear them again.
This will allow lashes to keep it's slightly bent eye shape which will make them easier to apply.
WHAT TYPE OF LASH ADHESIVE IS RECOMMENDED?
We highly recommend Ardell "Duo" Lash Adhesive for daily wear.
Please be aware that it is latex based.
Hair glue can also be used, but not recommended for the health of your natural lash.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY LASHES BEFORE I RE-WEAR THEM?
We recommend you to gently peel off any excess glue with your fingertips or with tweezers. Once glue is removed you should lightly spray your lashes with alcohol to remove germs. Then grab your spoolie and gently brush your lashes starting from the lash strip to the ends. We do not recommend soaking them in water since they are 100% MINK this can cause damage to your lashes and shorten the longevity.
SHOULD I TRIM THE LASHES BEFORE APPLYING THEM?
It depends on your eye shape. We all have different eye sizes you should trim the ends of the lash strip until it fits your eye perfectly. If the lash strip already fits your eye perfectly there is no need to trim it. Another way to know if your lashes need to be trimmed is if your eyes keep watering while you have them on. This means the lash strip is over the tear-duct on your eye and needs to be trimmed down or reapplied.
HOW DO I PUT THEM ON?
Step 1: Carefully take them out of the lash container.
Do not pull them out because can easily damage the lash band.
Step 2: Size up the lash to your eye to see if they need to be trimmed.
Step 3: Slightly trim if needed. (Be careful when trimming you do not want to trim too much). I suggest slightly trimming and check to make sure you cut enough but not too much.
Step 4: Apply adhesive to lash band. Waive lash around for 30 seconds until the glue becomes tacky. Extra glue is suggested for the corners of the eye because those are easiest to become loose.
Step 5: Then apply lash strip to your lash line.
ARE STRIPS HARMFUL TO YOUR NATURAL LASHES?
Lash Strips are not harmful to your natural lashes if they are applied and removed correctly. You must be gentle when removing lash strips because if the glue is still fresh you will remove your real lashes along with the strip. This is why we do not recommend hair glue because it is too strong of a glue and will be hard to remove the lash strip. Please be gentle and careful so your natural lashes do not get damaged.
DOES STRIPS HELP GROW YOUR NATURAL LASHES?
No. Strip lashes are for daily wear and do not promote lash growth. Individual Mink lashes do promote lash growth and appointments can be booked by clicking the "Book Appointments" Tab.
